An Arrest is Made Over a July Shooting

An arrest has been made in connection with the July shooting death of James High, which occurred at Elk's Lodge on Chenango Street. With the assistance of the US Marshals Service, the Binghamton Police Department has arrested 30-year-old Joshua Taylor of Binghamton.

Taylor was located in New York before returning to Binghamton. He is being charged with 2nd Degree Murder. He will be arraigned in Binghamton City Court.

As you might remember, this shooting took place in late July. 33-year old High died after being shot twice in the torso.

The investigation into this incident is on-going.
