Tioga Downs to Give Presentation to State Gaming Commission
Tioga Downs is readying its presentation to the State Gaming Commission on September 10th in its effort to gain a casino license.
The facility is still looking to garner local support with its active application before the state. Tioga Downs and its $195 million project is the only applicant for a Southern Tier casino license.
Regional Director of Business Development Jay Dinga said, "The economic models prove that this is going to be a serious economic engine for our community. It will enhance tourism, it will enhance local business and create jobs."
