Windsor HS Pair Shine in National Competition

By Fox 40 Staff.
Two local high school students placed in the top 15 of a nationwide business competition.

Windsor High School students Matthew Colosi and Dayne Feehan went to Chicago for the Future Business Leaders of America competition. Out of 15,000 students the Windsor pair placed in the top two percent.

The competition consisted of a written test and a case study on the topic of management and decision making. The students say that they put in a lot of hard work to place where they did.

"Preparation and hard work, we got that textbook and we went cover to cover with it. That helped us so tremendously it's not even funny. There were 20 some times that we were like "oh yeah we did this while practicing."

We also learned today that Binghamton won the bid to host the 2018 and 2019 New York State FBLA State Leadership Conference. Officials say the conference is expected to bring $400,000 of economic impact to our area.
