Majority of Exterior Work Completed for MacArthur Elementary School
The majority of the exterior work of the new MacArthur Elementary School in Binghamton has been completed.
The new version of the flood ruined school is nearing substantial completion.
The stunning new building will house students who have been in two school buildings for the last four years.
Assistant District Superintendent Kerry Mullins told us when the new facility will be up and running.
Kerry Mullins, Assistant Superintendent of Administration, said, "The substantial completion date is still on target for November 16th and we'll have the students from St. Francis moving in on November 30 and students from St. Thomas moving in January 4th."
The project was given a price tag of $80 million but it is believed that it will come in under budget.
