Jury Selection In Trial of Man Accused of Binghamton Murder

A jury has been selected in the trial of Nigel Smith. He's accused of the robbery and murder of Bretnie Owens at his Stone Street apartment in Binghamton in the early morning hours of June 15, 2013. Eleven men and five women will make up the 12-person jury and four alternates.

Smith's co-defendant in the case, Calvin Bell, was found not guilty of all charges. The charges included second-degree murder on June 12th of this year. Opening arguments in the smith trial will be tomorrow morning.
