Glen Aubrey Fire Department Gets $500,000 from FEMA
By Fox 40 Staff. The Glen Aubrey Fire Department is getting $500,000 from FEMA to relocate out of a flood zone.
That money announced this afternoon by US Senator Charles Schumer. The department was able to make some repairs to remain functional after the flood of 2011 but still remained in a flood zone. Schumer says the funding from FEMA will allow the Glen Aubrey Department to break ground on the new building as soon as possible.
