A four-car accident on union center highway in Endicott sent at least two people to the hospital and left many without power as a truck goes through a subway restaurant Tuesday Morning.

Broome County Sheriff's Deputies said they received a call around 9:49 Tuesday morning when a Greenskeeper truck driven by 46-year-old Louis Pittarelli of Endicott proceeded straight in a left-turn only lane on day Hollow Road and Route 26 in Endicott.

When reaching the intersection -- the truck hit a toyota camry making a left turn, then struck a Ford Taurus which ended up hitting a Hyundai Elantra. Police say the truck then turned right into generations beauty salon and knocked over a power line. The portion of the salon struck was a storage room, which no one was in at the time.

However, there were employees and customers at the adjacent subway. Police say Pittarelli and the driver of another car were taken to the hospital with minor injuries. The driver of the Toyota is a Marine who was coming back from Clark summit, Pennsylvania after donating blood this morning.
