Preview of Conklin Fair

Everyone seems to love a parade and earlier on Thursday night in Conklin the 44th annual fair kicked off with a parade to honor first responders.

Organizers say the parade was the largest that Conklin has ever seen, featuring three marching bands including the Binghamton High School's Steel Drum Band. The fair is being held at 942 Conklin Road for the next two days and there will be plenty of fun things for everyone including rides, a car show, the zoomobile and a pie baking contest. On Saturday night the fair will wrap up with a fireworks display.
