One Woman Dead After DWI Motorcycle Accident, Driver Jailed

Saturday, just after 5:30 pm, New York state police say 42-year-old Christopher Tanner was driving while under the influence on route 11 northbound when he crossed into the southbound roadway and struck a motorcyclist identified as 49 year old Shannon Nasoni.
Nasoni was airlifted to upstate medical center in Syracuse where she was later pronounced dead.
Tanner was arrested for DWI police say he had a blood alcohol content of .21.
Tanner was charged with vehicular manslaughter, aggravated DWI and failure to keep right.
He was arraigned in the town of marathon court and sent to the Cortland county jail without bail.
