Convicted Sex Offender Sentenced for Robbery

A 64-year-old man pleaded guilty to first degree robbery in Tioga County Court.
Convicted sex offender John Malowsky of Attica, New York was sentenced to 15 years in state prision and five years post release supervision.
The roberry occurred in February of 2013 when he stole money and hydrocodone from CVS Pharmacy in Owego using a butcher style knife.
Malowsky was also charged with armed robberies in Corning and Binghamton as well as a home invasion in Vestal.
