Community Members Support Baby Born with Rare Liver Condition

Proceeds from a fundraiser support financial needs of a baby suffering from a rare liver condition.

Sunday, the Caleb's Journey Fundraiser was held at Ross Park in Binghamton.
Caleb Munn is an eight-month old who was diagnosed with Biliary Atresia, a liver disease that affects the bile duct -- at just three months old.
After a failed Kasai procedure, his father was able to successfully donate for a liver transplant, but continued follow ups will still need to take place to ensure Caleb's health.

"I was so excited when I got to the hospital that I wanted to do the surgery that day. I mean I was ready to go and I knew it was something that I had to do and there was no question," said Caleb's Father Brian Munn.
"He's been an amazing blessing and he definitely completes our family. I have two other children and they just adore him. He really brings light into our lives and we're very blessed to have him," said Caleb's mother Brittany Munn.

Proceeds from Sunday's event will go towards helping to offset medical costs for Caleb's treatments and travel expenses.
