Man Arrested after Car and Foot Chase with Police in Binghamton
A Harpursville man who had felony warrants coming out of multiple state agencies faces more charges after fleeing from police.
Thirty two-year-old Michell Mccomas is charged with reckless endangerment, unlawful fleeing a police officer, and reckless driving. An officer attempted to stop Mccomas, who was in a dark mini-van, when he failed to stop at a stop sign while exiting Otsiningo Park. Police chased him by car through multiple streets. They say Mccomas was travelling fast through neighborhoods and school zones and struck at least one vehicle during the pursuit. After getting stuck on railroad tracks at route 7 and old state road, he fled on foot and was apprehended. He is in the Broome County Jail.
