Assembly Approves Legislation for Tribute to Honor Fallen Trooper Skinner
Thursday, June 11, 2015 6:46 PM EDT
One final step away until a tribute to honor fallen State Police Officer Trooper Christopher Skinner becomes a reality.
The assembly approved legislation to name a Town of Chenango Bridge after Skinner.
The bill already passed the senate and is waiting for Governor Cuomo to sign it into law.
Police say Skinner was intentionally struck and killed May 29th 2014 while issuing a ticket on Interstate 81 in Chenango.
He was 42. Florida native Almond Upton will stand trial in November for Skinner's death.
