Murderer Manhunt Continues. Sweat's Mother Reacts

The manhunt continues for David Sweat and Richard Matt, who escaped over the weekend from the maximum-security Clinton Correctional Facility in Dannemora.

Sweat is serving a life sentence without parole for killing Broome County Sheriff's Deputy Kevin Tarsia. Wednesday Fox 40 spoke with Pamela Sweat, the mother of escapee David Sweat, outside her Conklin home. She did not want to speak on camera but said she is exhausted and tired of the ordeal.

The New York State Police Wednesday announced that more than 50 digital billboards in New York, New Jersey, Massachusetts and Pennsylvania are featuring photos and information about the two men. The billboards are located in the New York City area, Capital Region, Central and Western New York, as well as near Boston, Massachusetts and North Central and Erie, Pennsylvania.

At a press conference this afternoon Governor Cuomo said Vermont may have been a possible destination for the pair. Police continue to stress the two men are considered dangerous and, if spotted, you should not approach them. instead, immediately call 9-1-1.
