Car Catches Fire Outside of Ground Round Restaurant

Johnson City fire crews respond to a car fire outside the Ground Round in Johnson city Friday evening.

Officials say crews responded to that car fire just after 4:15 p.m.

It only took crews a few minutes to put out the blaze.
Ihe owner of the vehicle would not speak on camera but other bystanders explain what they saw.

Waiter, Benjamin Barr said, "I was inside hosting and one of the cooks comes running out to tell me to move my car so I run outside and David's car is up in flames like a volcano. So I go to move my car and as I go to move it, it explodes."

Officials say no one was hurt in the fire. Investigators do not have a cause at this time.
