Mets Dillon Gee ready for 6 man rotation in San Diego

Last night we saw New York Mets starter Dillon Gee pitch in his final rehab Appearance. The right-hander pitched 6 1/3 innings, allowing three runs, two earned and struck out four.

The next step for Gee is to join the big league club as they head out west to San Diego starting next week to take on the Padres. With former B-Met Noah Syndergaard pitching so well, New York is moving to a six man rotation.

"You know I am pitching. That is the main thing I am happy about. Hopefully you know I will do well and we will go from there and it will be an adjustment for all of us. It is something we are not really used but you know we will just periodically check along the way and see if everybody is feeling it and make adjustments accordingly," said Gee.

The Mets head on the road for a 10 game road trip with Miami, San Diego, and Arizona.
