BC Sheriffs Bust Town of Union Meth Lab

New details have been released about a confirmed methamphetamine lab busted in the Town of Union Thursday night.

Amongst a slew of charges, 53 year Peter Drossos and 48-year-old Michele Drossos are charged with felony counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance, and unlawful manufacture of methamphetamine.

A search warrant today resulted in the location of approximately 5 fluid ounces of meth oil, packaged heroin, controlled substance pills and an indoor marijuana operation.

According to the Broome County Special Investigations Unit Task Force, sheriffs were investigating a complaint that the Drossos, who reside at 1006 May Street were stealing electrical services from a residence on Zeggert Road.

Upon investigation the deputy observed a methamphetamine manufacturing operation through an open window.

Neighbors tell Fox 40 that the man and woman lived at that residence for three years. The Broome County Sheriffs Department is handling this investigation.
