Students Present Anti-Bullying Public Service Announcements

Fun and games with a serious message today at Susquehanna Valley High School.

Students have been working all year to develop anti-bullying public service announcements. Students viewed those videos today and took part in a school-wide scavenger hunt.

This is the second year the school has instituted the anti-bullying olweus program, and teachers say they've seen a difference.

"I think the climate and culture of our building has improved greatly. Students are willing to step up to support one another. It's definitely become a kinder, gentler place," said Special Education Teacher Jennifer Potter.

Students created a total of 20 public service announcements. Judges will decide the best two, which will be shown at the Binghamton Mets game on June 5th.
