Fire officials continue to investigate the cause of a blaze which damaged a two-family home in Johnson City Thursday afternoon.
The fire broke out about 4:30 Thursday at 179 Hudson Street. Firefighters say they were able to make their way through dense smoke conditions to rescue a family dog. no injuries to people or pets were reported after the fire. Johnson City and Binghamton crews were able to knock down the main body of the fire in about 20 minutes.
