Binghamton Woman Charged with Possession of 50 Bags of Heroin
A Binghamton woman wanted on three active arrest warrants is awaiting arraignment tonight after police say they found 50 bags of heroin at her residence.
The arrest comes after a month long investigation.
26-year-old Christine Singer is charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance in the third degree, a class B felony and unlawful possession of marijuana.
Her other two warrants were for petit larceny out of the City of Binghamton Court, and criminal possession of a controlled substance out of the Town of Chenango Court.
Singer was arrested after Delaware County Sheriffs and the Task Force with the Broome County Special Investigations Unit along with K-9 Ozzie located the 50 bags of heroin at 193 Matthews Street and an amount of marijuana.
Singer will be arraigned tomorrow in the City of Binghamton Court.
