If you seem to have a lead foot when you get behind the wheel, you could find yourself paying some hefty fines and penalties.
Starting Friday New York State Police began targeting aggressive drivers, especially those who like to speed. Police say about one third of all fatal crashes are a result of someone speeding.
The campaign known as "speed week" will run through next Wednesday and troopers will be traveling in both marked and unmarked vehicles. Police will also be targeting those not wearing seat belts and violating the move over law.
