B-Mets washed out in Erie

ERIE, PA – Heavy rain forced the postponement of Monday night’s game between the Binghamton Mets and Erie SeaWolves. The contest will be made up as part of a doubleheader on Tuesday, April 14 with first pitch of the opener set for 4:35 PM.

Monday’s rainout marks Binghamton’s first postponement of the season.

In the doubleheader, the B-Mets (3-1) send RHP John Gant to the mound for his Double-A debut against RHP Warwick Saupold. RHP Seth Lugo opposes RHP Jeff Ferrell in the nightcap. The Horizons Federal Credit Union Pregame Show can be heard starting at 4:20 PM on Newsradio 1290 WNBF and the Binghamton Mets channel on TuneIn.

The B-Mets home opener on April 16, highlighted by a championship DVD giveaway, is just three days away. Tickets are on sale now and can be purchased by visiting BMETS.COM, going to the NYSEG Stadium box office or by calling 723-METS.
