Police: Johnson City Woman Forges Painkiller Prescription
A Johnson City woman is in custody after police say she tried to fill a forged prescription for oxycodone.
31-year-old Ryan Neff is charged with criminal possession of a forged instrument, a class 5 felony.
Police say Deputy Marc Ayers of the Broome County Sheriffs Office investigated a report of a person trying to present a pass for a forged prescription for oxycodone--a painkiller, at a pharmacy in the Town of Chenango. Neff was released on her own recognizance and is awaiting action in Broome County Court.
