Update: B-Mets Sale Negotiations

B-Mets President Mike Urda filed a sworn declaration with federal court today outlining his side of the negotiations in the sale of the B-Mets to main street baseball.

During negotiations there was a sixty day no shopping period.

With that period expiring before an asset purchase agreement could be approve -- Urda informed Main Street Baseball that they were ceasing negotiations.

Urda then informed Eastern League President Joe Mceachern of the development and Mceachern told Urda to be expecting a call soon from a prospective buyer.

Within an hour the call was received and a day later a letter of intent was drafted. Urda did not identify the alternate buyer but said he appears interested in keeping the team in Binghamton.
