Windsor Job Center Holds its 5th Annual Job Fair

Job seekers from around the Southern Tier flocked to the Windsor Job Center where organizers held their 5th annual job fair on Wednesday in the town's community house. More than 100 people attended in search of job opportunities. There were nine businesses present providing hundreds of available positions. Some businesses included Willow Run Foods, Willow Point Nursing Home and Maines Paper and Food source. Organizers say this fair helps aid job seekers in a non-intimidating manner.

"People can actually be more on the relaxed side and be themselves and really ask some good questions, and hopefully walk away with some good information or a job," said Windsor Job Fair founder Stephen Goss.

"For me it's just a good opportunity that I just came here. There are a lot of tips that I learned today and I am so thankful about it," said Binghamton resident Jocard Castillon

Special guest Ginny Thompson of Resume Pros was also there to look over and help improve resumes.
