The Binghamton Zoo at Ross Park held their annual Easter Egg-stravaganza this weekend.
Between Saturday and Sunday more than 600 people showed up hunting for Easter eggs, making arts and crafts. There was even a real live Easter Bunny! The event also gave families a first look at the animals this year before the zoo's grand opening.
"It's kind of a welcoming of spring, today not so much, but it's our first large event after the winter. And so we like to remind people that hey, we're still here, so come on out and have a good time," said Education Coordinator at Ross Park Zoo Melissa Grippin.
The Grand opening for the Zoo is set for April 18th.
