Catholic Schools of Broome County Host Indoor Easter Eggs Hunt

Some kids at Seton Catholic Central also spent the day hunting for Easter Eggs.

Saturday, the Catholic Schools of Broome County hosted more their annual indoor Easter Egg Hunt.

More than 200 people came out for the hunt searching for eggs throughout the school.
The goal: for participants to find eggs in random classrooms and cash them in for a prize.
Along with the egg hunt there were games, refreshments and even a bounce house. Organizers say the event put everyone in the Easter spirit.

"Until we celebrate Easter at church, this is a great way of just getting together and letting the kids unwind and run around a little bit," said St. James School Principal Matthew Martinkovic.

"It's so cute, especially because we thought that they were easy to see, but then you see all of the little kids tricked by it. And it's really cute to see all of the innocence," said Elena Tiderencel, volunteer from Seton Catholic Central God Squad.

The Catholic Schools of Broome County will host the 11th annual Hengel Sports Classic in June.
