A One of a Kind Shopping Experience At "Twig & Thread"

Posted:
If you're looking for a "one of a kind" shopping experience you may want to stop by "Twig and Thread" at 196 State Street in Binghamton.

It's an eclectic shop that's a collaboration of local artisans showcasing a mix of vintage clothing, gifts, furniture and antiques. It's a pop up shop, which is a temporary business. It opened on February 1st, has 5 co-owners and will only be open until May.

"I think it's important for people to support the artisans and the entrepreneurs that are right in the area. And you're supporting people who live here, you know, we work here," said co-owner of Twig and Thread Sherrie Stebbins Rinker.

"It's a very interesting store in here, actually when I walked in, because there are so many different types of unique items," said Port Crane resident Kelly Slocum.

A farewell party that's open to the public will be held on the artist's row section of State Street on May 1st. The shopping experience at Twig and Thread is one the highlights of the First Friday Art Walk.
