Police Investigate Body Found in Susquehanna River

Police are asking your help to identify the man recovered from the Susquehanna River in the Town of Union Sunday night.

Emergency crews responded on the scene Sunday night at around 6 p.m. The woman who discovered the body, called the police and said she was walking down River Road with her friend and saw the body stuck in the ice. According to autopsy results the body is that of a Caucasian male approximately 18-25 years old and weighing 150 pounds.

The man has tattoos on both hands. On his left hand he has fear written across the knuckles and on the right he has the numbers 9,2,3, and 12 written on each knuckle. When he was recovered early Monday morning -- he was wearing Reebok sweatpants and a dark t-shirt with a picture of the cartoon character Underdog.
