B-Sens frustrated after weekend losses

Posted:
To the rink and this weekend wasn't kind to the Binghamton Senators. The B-Sens lost two games, a 3-1 loss to rival Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins Friday and a 4-1 loss to the Bridgeport Sound Tigers who sit at last place in their division. Right now, the senators are having a tough time putting biscuits in baskets which has led to a lot of frustration. With a tough road game in Syracuse on Wednesday, the B-Sens need some time to regroup and talk to each other.

"We just wanted to make sure during this time of the year that this frustration is setting in and we need to channel our energy in the right way so I didn't have anything to say to them about the game besides it didn't go our way on the ice and I thought we had some good scoring chances early and we couldn't capitalize. Our power play is a little stale right now but the effort was there and it seems like we are going in different directions so now we need to work together and get it back going the right way," said Head Coach Luke Richardson.

"It's just a matter of guys needing to be better for each other. There are break downs before these goals that are the problem, it's not necessarily the shots that go in. There are some things we need to work on and that's the plan this week," said Team Captain Aaron Johnson.

The B-Sens have made a roster move today. Goalie Chris Dreidger is coming to Binghamton after a brief stint with the NHL team in Ottawa.
