Union-Endicott High School Holds Dinner for Veterans
The Union-Endicott High School Veteran's Club ran a dinner at the American Legion Post 82. For just $9 diners were served a pasta and salad dinner. The group served more than 40 people and hoped to raise more than $1,000.
"You don't really see a lot of kids starting off and branching on their own things. And this just shows kids, hey, get involved in your community and do some things that are fun and also help others. And I think it just shows to be a good example," said Noah Burchill, Union Endicott High School Veterans Club founder.
All proceeds will go to the Southern Tier Veterans Support Group. This is the clubs first year running at the high school.
