Three People Arrested in Drug Bust on Bus From NYC
Three Johnson City individuals are in custody after police say they intercepted 130 grams of heroin and 52 grams of cocaine coming from New York City to Binghamton, worth a total street value of 60 thousand dollars...
Richard J. Madison, Jessica M. Titus and Maria Champion-Cruz are all charged with conspiracy and criminal possession of a controlled substance, following a month long investigation by the Broome County Special Investigations Unit Task Force.
Titus and Champion-Cruz were arrested as they exited the bus, while Madison was arrested a few days later in Binghamton.
Police say the investigation revealed the three worked together to transport large amounts of heroin and cocaine from the city to the Broome County area. All three are being held at the Broome County Jail.
