B-Sens making late push for postseason

Posted:
All season long the B-Sens have been rather inconsistent. At one point they were atop the East Division, but after just two wins in January, sunk to dead last in the Eastern Conference. With just 17 games left in the season, Binghamton remains ten points out of the final playoff spot currently held by Worcestor with Hartford, St. John's, Albany, and Lehigh Valley in between. It will take great play from the B-Sens and all the cards to fall the right way to sneak into the playoffs, but the B-Sens have won three in a row and earned points in each of the last five games.

"Obviously, we're not in the position in the standings we want to be in at this point," said B-Sens forward Derek Grant. "But we're getting better every game and you can see it and we're getting better results. So, I think going forward that's what we got to keep doing is just keep getting better every week and every game."

"If we can get 8 out of 10 points, that's a pretty good run and if we can do that a couple times in a row here, we know we're not going to win every night but we can give ourselves a chance to, if we can get on a couple rolls like this, it puts you in the mix," said head coach Luke Richardson. "That's all we can do at this point. We can't change the past, all we can do is learn from it and it looks like we have. And the team's playing much better together right now."
