Blood staining found at the Harris home is once again the main focus of testimony as the trial of Cal Harris enters week number 4.
Harris is the Owego business man charged with the murder of his estranged wife Michele who disappeared in September 2001.

New York State Police forensic investigator Steven Andersen was back on the stand today for his 3rd day of testimony.

Andersen gave detailed descriptions about the 6 blood stains found inside the Harris home and the 12 blood stains found in the actual garage all of which were approximately 1 millimeter in size.

Andersen told district attorney Kirk Martin that the 6 stains found inside the home were located on and around the door leading to the garage and that the 12 stains in the garage were on the floor.

During andersens testimony jurors saw dozens of pictures of the blood stains some of which He says are consistent with blood spatter and appear to have been altered in an attempted clean up.

Andersen additionally testified about stains found on a rug from the floor inside the home near the door leading to the garage.

According to Andersen of the 61 stains from the rug that were tested, 51 tested positive for blood.
