Ukrainian Military Chaplain Speaks of Conflict in Ukraine
Less than two weeks after a cease fire is reached in the Ukrainian conflict, a military chaplain from Ukraine is visiting local Ukrainian Catholic churches to speak about hardships the soldiers and their families are facing.
Father Bohdan Kulyk is asking those in the Southern Tier to pray for those involved in the conflict especially the widows and orphans of soldiers who have been killed.
Fr. Bohdan Kulyk says, "Now the problem is also that many families don't know what they have to do next. How they're going to get past this moment because of financial and economic stress and the physical turmoil they have suffered."
In addition to spiritual support Father Kulyk asks that Southern Tier families consider making monetary donations to aid in the medical care of the soldiers.
