Two Companies Step Up to the Plate for Special Needs Community

Posted:
Two local companies are providing creative support to the special needs community.

Upstate Shredding and Gary's U-Pull it donated a check totaling $5500.00 dollars to the The Magic Paintbrush Project. The company's are this year's Diamond sponsors for the Paint Chips event. It's a fundraiser which impacts over five thousand people each year in family and caregiver engagement workshops for the special needs community in the southern tier.

"Just to see the support, I mean it's the support not just for us here at the agency but it's the support for the families. We have agencies in the triple cities that primarily can only function because of the generous donations of the sponsors and the fundraisers that we do," said Beth Patrick, Workshop Coordinator, Magic Paintbrush Project.

The Paint Chips event is scheduled for May 1st at Traditions at the Glen.
