Cal Harris' defense team faced a number of objections during the cross examination of Michele Harris' sister-in-law, Shannon Taylor.

This is The third time Harris is being tried for the murder if his wife Michele who disappeared in September of 2001.

Jurors spent a majority of the day out of the courtroom while the defense and prosecution argued over Shannon Taylor's testimony regarding a man named Stacy Stewart.

District attorney Kirk Martin had countless objections to the defense's line of questioning about Stewart, saying they were trying to elicit hearsay testimony from Taylor .

Martin's objections were answered by the defense saying Taylor intentionally withheld information from authorities hoping they would overlook other potential suspects, including Stewart, and focus their investigation on Cal.

Defense specifically points to Taylor's interView with 48 hours where she admitted to knowing Stewart ... This is inconsistent with today's testimony where she said that while she had heard Stewart's name she never met him.

Judge George Bartlett ruled that the defense could question Taylor about her personal knowledge of Stewart and nothing else.

Both sides have finished questioning Taylor and the state will call their next witness when court reconvenes tomorrow morning at 10.
