Police: Man Arrested During Dispute, Officers Find Cocaine
Police say an early-morning dispute leads to drug charges for a Johnson City man wanted on a parole warrant.
Village police say just after 5:30 Saturday morning officers responded to Ethel Street and officers recognized 41-year-old Willie Coaxum, who had a parole warrant out on him. Police say upon being told he was under arrest Coaxum pulled away from officers and threw something to the ground. Police say that item was cocaine. Coaxum faces a number of charges including felony tampering with evidence. He is in the Broome County Jail.
