Binghamton Men's hot shooting leads them to second win

Posted:
In the Bearcats win yesterday at home against UMass-Lowell, Binghamton shot 60 percent for the game and 53 percent beyond the arc leading to 76 points in the victory. Four players scored 13 points or more in the win and in the second half -- this team shot 82 percent on 14 of 17 shots. Practice has really made this perfect.

"I'd say just playing more together as the season goes on. We have worked on offense every day in practice and it is just something we picked up and we are more comfortable with each other now than we were before," said Bobby Ahearn.

"We have spent more time on offense in practice and as we have gone through our defensive struggles. We had 40 points against Lowell in the first game and 48 in the second half so certainly we are moving in the right direction offensively," said Tommy Dempsey.

The Bearcats are right back on the court on Tuesday as Hartford comes in to town Tuesday night for a 7 pm tip off.
