Bedroom Makeovers for Children with Serious Medical Conditions
Thursday, January 29, 2015 11:01 PM EST
The organization "A Room to Heal" provides bedroom makeovers for children with serious medical conditions.
Thanks to a 5 thousand dollar donation from the Weitsman family and Krebs restaurant in Skaneateles the organization will be able to provide a bedroom makeover for one local child.
The Weitzman's donated money to 4 Non Profit Organizations. The executive director of A Room to Heal says the donation will allow her team to focus on designing their next bedroom.
Laurie Abess says, "By receiving donations it takes a lot of energy from our organization away from fundraising and allows us to really do what our mission is. Create the rooms for the kids."
Abess says this money will be used to make over the bedroom of a Tioga County boy with a chronic condition.
