Career Fair Gives Students Insight to Variety of Jobs

Posted:
When you were in school did you ever wonder how what you were learning was going to help you in real life?

Seton Catholic students in seventh and eighth grade took part in a career fair on Thursday where 18 presenters through out the community gave insight to their jobs.

Students got a chance to interact with lawyers, dentists, eye care professionals and even our own Sports Director Jeremy Donovan. Seventh grader Fritz Huff says that he's learned just how hard people have to work to be successful.

Seventh grader Fritz Huff said, "It's important because in high school you might want to pick a certain class that you're interested in so that later in life you can have fun with the career that you have. You're not forced to go to work, but it's fun to do."

Fritz said that three of the presentations that he saw he could see himself one day entering graphic design, interior design, and law.
