The Seawolves, however, bounced back to go up 29-26 at the break.

In the second half, Stony Brook built their lead up to 39-30 on a jumper by Miranda Jenkins with 14:25 left in regulation. The Bearcats were able to get back to within 45-40 on a layup by freshman guard Jasmine Sina at the 10:57 mark.

The decisive run, however, was a 13-5 blitz by the Seawolves in a span of 5:05 to make it 65-51 with 1:39 left to go.

Sina, freshman guard Imani Watkins and junior guard Kim Albrecht each had a team-high 11 points. Watkins also added six rebounds and five assists.
