An Amsterdam Man is Facing Grand Larceny Charges

An Amsterdam man is under arrest after police say he knowingly wrote two bad checks.
73 year-old Spencer Harford is charged with 3rd degree grand larceny for purchasing $29,800 worth of cattle and a trailer from a Deposit woman using two checks that he did not have the funds to pay.
Harford is charged with 3rd degree grand larceny, a class d felony.
He has been sent to the Delaware County jail on $10,000 cash bail.
