Locally Produced PBS Series

An amber alert on television. That's the idea behind a new show in production called lead me home.

The show will focus on current cases of runaway teens, missing persons and human trafficking. The show will also include interviews with law enforcement and forensic scientists. Lead Me Home will be produced at the public television station in Syracuse and the producer of the show, whom we spoke with today at the Endwell Rotary meeting, hopes it will air throughout New York State. According to the state, anywhere from 100,000 to 300,000 U.S. children are currently involved in sex trafficking. The average age of initial victimization is only 13 years old.
