Community Remembers Missing Loved One After Nine Years

Posted:
Community members commemorate a woman missing for nine years with an annual candlelight vigil.

Dozens gathered outside the One Stop Grocery on Front Street this evening remembering Bambi Madden. Nine years ago, Madden was one her way to a Hess gas station on Front street but never made it home. Binghamton police say they have not had any leads on the case.

Those attending the vigil say they're just not ready to give up hope.

Jackie Fiske, Bambi's sister said, "Bambi is a good person and she was well loved by everybody and she just loved life."
Amanda Barry, Bambi's sister said, "We're not going to give up if that's what anyone's thinking. Shes going to come home one day. Either she's going to come home or we're going to find her. something's going to happen."

The Madden Family invites the community to visit Facebook and search Bambi Madden.
