Students Perform Jacks and the Fourth Wall at Tri-Cities Opera

Posted:
On Sunday performers hit the stage again in Jacks and the Fourth Wall... a play written by two SUNY Geneseo students.

Actors took to the stage at two Sunday afternoon inside the Tri-Cities Opera building.

During the performance actors "broke the fourth wall" entering into the audience and mingling with viewers.
Directors said they're excited to share their production with the community.

"They really bring a whole new light to the first time that I was in it and it's just a completely different show than what it was. And so when opening night happens and they're on stage, I have nothing but a big smile on my face," Erin Donovan, Director of Jacks and the Fourth Wall said.

"If you really write a good comic relief character that has an agenda, it can be a good show and that's what Jacks is. He's this character who is just supposed to be funny and entertaining and that was my idea for it," Alanna Smith, Playwright for Jacks and the Fourth Wall said.

The show was put on by Spare Productions. For more information on when they're performing next, head over to their Facebook page: Facebook.com/SpareProductions.
