Young Bearcats look to have fun and aim high

After winning an America East Title two years ago, the BU volleyball team missed the conference tournament last year.  This year, they've been picked to finish 5th in the conference in the AEast preseason poll due largely to their age and inexperience.  Despite having nine underclassmen on a roster of 13, Head Coach Glenn Kiriyama says his girls are learning quickly and should turn a lot of heads during the season.

Bearcats senior Alex Zbytniewski added that the goal is to win, but they're not adding the internal pressure of making sure they win and it's all about having fun and getting better every day.

The Bearcats open the season on August 29th against UCLA as part of the LMU Invitational.
