Police in Delaware County are looking for witnesses of a fatal crash that killed a Nineveh man. Four people from the Bronx were seriously injured.
It happened Thursday morning in the town of Colchester. 47-year-old William Sharpless was pronounced dead at the scene on County Route 7, also know as Cat Hollow Road.
Investigators say 30-year-old Chet Wood was driving on the wrong side of the road and struck Sharpless head-on. Wood is from the Bronx.
He and three passengers are still being treated at Westchester Cedical Center.
Anyone who may have witnessed the crash should call Delaware County Sheriff's Office at 607-746-2336.
A possible domestic disturbance has lead to an armed standoff in Sayre, Pennsylvania.
Police have been negotiating since this morning with a man in a home on Packer Avenue. Authorities have referred to the man as "Justin". Sayre police say this is not a hostage situation and that police haven't yet made contact with the person inside.
