Bearcats women's soccer expecting to turn heads

Like their male counterparts, the BU women's soccer program was picked to finish 7th in the America East Preseason Poll.  The ranking was based largely on their inexperience.  The Bearcats roster has just four seniors and six juniors and will rely on the youth movement throughout the season.

While team's don't usually put a lot of stock in the preseason polls, the Bearcats are using their low ranking as motivation to prove everyone wrong.  They're looking forward to playing with a chip on their shoulder and climb the ranks of the conference like UMBC did last year.

The Bearcats open the season on Friday at home against Temple at 7:00.
