Bob Antonacci Attends B-Mets Game

Candidate for New York State Comptroller Bob Antonacci made an appearance Wednesday night at the B-Mets game.

The B-Mets game Wednesday is the second stop on antonacci's tour across the state of New York visiting various baseball games--he even brought his own mascot.

Why ball games to spread a message?

He says baseball is really a metaphor for what government should really be about--none of us can do it by ourselves, but everybody has to pitch in. Choosing this type of atmosphere sends a positive message.

Comptroller candidate Bob Antonacci says: "What we needed to do was to get voters in a friendly non political setting and let them know that we are fun people, that we enjoy sports, that we enjoy things that they enjoy but it gives us a chance to just get out and make some new friends and get around the state."

Among many points that Antonacci aims to get across as his campaign continues, is that he feels that there shouldn't be a need for a Moreland Commission if you have an independent and aggressive comptroller.
